Sometimes we think that we are not a rich people, therefore we can not afford to buy something that being our dreams. This statement is not absolutely right, as you noticed that being able to manage your money is more in your ‘spend money attitude’ rather than how much you earn your money.

Coz we never feel satisfy with what we earn and always feel ‘is not enough’….
For instance, when you go shopping to supermarket, you can start to save your money. How ? By differentiating products : there are some products that you can buy less without suffering its quality, for sure. Let’s say, tissue towel, you don’t need to buy no.1 premium tissue, just to get its similar functionality before you throw it away in trash bin. You can buy private label (unbranded ) tissue for this matter.
If you don’t sacrifice quality, is much cheaper to buy private label products (like in Makro or Hero) for certain products,. And it will give you siginificant saving up to 30%.
SPECIAL OFFER ON WEEK END :
Another way to create saving is by carefully reading ad war in newspaper that always mentioned ‘special offer’ for particular items from various hypermart, during the last 3 days of the week (Friday to Sunday). You have to be careful, as they will limit our purchase for those particular items for only 2- 3 pcs. Look like cross subsidy with other products which you have to purchase more expensive. It’s more as marketing gymmick. But, pls be firm , to purchase what you really need, and not purchase other products that is out of your list, due to you’ll get it with special price.
Other products which have specific functionality or relates to taste, like detergent, as it relates to ability to clean our clothes, maybe better you become a loyal customer, and same thing for food, like sausage, meat balls, juice concentrate, etc.
BUY AS ONE BUNDLE :
Buy more as 1 bundle or package like in Makro is much cheaper than buy it individually. You can do that for products which you consume more than one pc a
month, like tissue, shampoo, cooking oil, ketchup, milk, etc.
PROMOTIONAL ITEMS :
In big supermarket, you can easily find cross category promotion from one manufacturer, like you buy shampoo and get body wash for free, or you buy detergent and you’ll get body wash for free. As long as you used to use this products, let’s get benefit from this offer, coz you’ll find it’s much cheaper to buy during this promotion, rather than in regular price.
GREAT SALE :
If you want to add your clothes collection, and want to buy basic clothes, like smart casual clothes for working women, polo short, shoes, or even lingerie, and you are NOT a trendsetter, better I advise you to buy this items during great sale period. As you can save a lot, up to 50% - 70%.
0% INTEREST RATE :
0% interest rate for 6 – 12 months period is also a smart way to buy products that we really need, especially electronic items and quite expensive goods. Something that we can’t afford if we have to buy it in cash.
GARAGE SALE :
Garage sale is also a good way to get good products with lower price. Especially you can buy small stuff, books, and nick nack there. Sometimes if you are lucky, you can buy unique handycraft from overseas for your home accessories, with very low price. Even you can buy various house hold , like barbeque grill, sport equipment from here. It depend on your patience to hunt this rare event. But, never ever think you’ll buy 2nd spring bed . Why ? As spring bed is something very personal, and you never know, how often the owner clean up it, and how much bacterias stay there.
LUNCH :
Bring your own lunch instead of eating out, is also a healthy and cost saving way. You can eat more hygienic food, with no MSG with less time consume to go to food stalls or restaurant, that eventually save energy due to you don’t need to drive your car!

You can save your money to call your sweet heart in UK, Germany, Asia, US, buy purchase VOIP card that give you good saving, by offering one rate : Rp,1,000 per minutes for any destination all over the world.
HANG OUT DURING THE WEEK END :
Where do you want to spend your week end ? Maybe you will choose to do clubbing, go to café, or even do bloody shopping at mall.

Instead of using standard regular lamp, better you switch to use energy saving lamp. Your a little bit higher initial cost, will be paid by less energy consumption.
Another saving generation is, instead of use separate AC in every room, why not we share and sleep together with our kid ?
